In HOUSTON a young manager loses his well-paid and status oriented job with an oil company. He roams through the city, realizing that his life of luxury is over and that his credit cards may soon become overheated. For him the ‘American dream’ is not fulfilled. Once a winner, he ends up being a loser.

about the director

Eagle Pennell was born in Andrews, in far West Texas in 1952. He attended the University of Texas briefly, then dropped out and began working for a small film company in Austin. In 1979 he directed his first film THE WHOLE SHOOTING MATCH. His films has been shown at the ‘Young Forum’ in Berlin.
